Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain pristine vehicle condition through daily inspections and cleanliness protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during every delivery interaction
- Accurately document deliveries and resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid DC driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience in last-mile delivery or similar customer-facing role
- Expert knowledge of Washington DC metropolitan area geography
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and navigation technology
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
