Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in Miami and surrounding areas within the promised time window.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure accident-free driving.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Interact with customers professionally, ensuring all deliveries are handled with care and courtesy.
- Utilize handheld GPS devices and route planning software to optimize delivery paths and fuel efficiency.
- Accurately handle cash and digital payments when required and complete daily logs and reports.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items for transport.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- At least 1 year of verifiable professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Proficient in using smartphone applications for navigation and digital proof of delivery.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Fluency in English; bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
