Responsibilities
- Execute timely and safe local deliveries within the Memphis metropolitan area and surrounding counties.
- Ensure the safe handling, accurate documentation, and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and regular maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to professional communication standards and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Utilize handheld devices for route optimization, proof of delivery, and electronic logging.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile technology (smartphone proficiency required).
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the designated depot.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
