Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight safely and efficiently across the New York metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital documentation in real-time.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and flexible shift schedules.
- Strong knowledge of New York City streets, traffic patterns, and geography.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and navigation.
