Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with precision and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while prioritizing safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Maintain electronic logs and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
- Represent Swift Transportation with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with mountain driving conditions and Denver metro area
- Basic navigation skills and proficiency with electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
