Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (26+ ft) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all FMCSA and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
