Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes within the Seattle area.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to ensure product safety.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify mechanical condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and billing documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT) and valid DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual loading tasks.
