Job Summary
As a CDL Driver at Apex Transportation Solutions, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across California and beyond. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Tanker, Flatbed, or Dry Van) safely and efficiently according to FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Load and unload cargo, including the use of lift gates and tarps for flatbed operations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL Driver's License.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (hazmat/tanker endorsement a plus).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
