Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to local businesses and residential customers in the Seattle metro area.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using appropriate lifting equipment and techniques.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate digital logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B (or Class A with local experience).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Must possess a clean driving record with no recent DUI or reckless driving violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Seattle-area roads and traffic patterns is preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
