Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to local customers in the Seattle area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution guidelines.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and delivery documentation (DOT compliant).
- Interact professionally with clients and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the truck cab and cargo area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle class).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clear driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling loading duties.
- Strong time management skills and ability to navigate GPS systems efficiently.
