Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks or cargo vans for local deliveries within San Jose and Bay Area
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with route optimization to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of San Jose/Bay Area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Reliable transportation to depot location
- Strong time management and customer service skills
