Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) within San Diego County
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with warehouse duties during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and punctuality
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings/weekends
- Knowledge of San Diego area geography preferred
