Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (26,000+ GVW) for local and regional deliveries
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Complete accurate paperwork, including delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Maintain clean, compliant vehicle through daily inspections and preventative maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
