Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on local routes within the Phoenix metropolitan area.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or route changes.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Represent the company professionally at customer delivery sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class A or B) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and paperwork.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
