Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on local routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Inspect vehicles prior to and after trips to ensure mechanical safety.
- Complete daily delivery logs, mileage reports, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and punctuality.
- Physical ability to lift and carry cargo weighing up to 50 lbs.
