Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight within the Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Provide excellent customer service during pick-up and delivery.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and acceptable background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Must be willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
