Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across San Francisco and Bay Area routes
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills in urban environments
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
