Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic data
- Load/unload cargo with precision using pallet jacks and forklift certification
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in quarterly safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs, reckless driving, or at-fatal accidents
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening program
- HAZMAT endorsement or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management software
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management with zero tolerance for delivery delays
- Knowledge of Arizona highway systems and border crossing protocols
