Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional deliveries
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Resolve delivery exceptions and maintain customer satisfaction
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with NC/SC/VA routes
- Exceptional time management and communication abilities
