Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Indianapolis metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, electronic logs)
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
