Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class B CDL required) for local deliveries and route fulfillment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using fleet management systems
- Inspect vehicles before/during trips to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks/forklifts
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding counties
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
