Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class B) for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and maintain electronic logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries in the Chicago metro area
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
