Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in San Antonio and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and resolve route challenges
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio area roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts
