Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to transport goods safely and efficiently within the Houston metro area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Manage electronic logging devices (ELD) and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than one moving violation in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging hours and checking routes.
