Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper securing and handling.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of Houston area roads and traffic patterns.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.
