Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local deliveries within Houston metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Houston area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and reliability
