Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery issues
- Secure cargo and maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout shift
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Fort Worth metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and early morning shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
