Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers within local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of freight.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of DOT hours of service regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling cargo up to 50 lbs.
