Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks and cargo vans for local deliveries in Detroit metro area
- Load/unload freight with proper safety protocols and equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Adapt routes for traffic conditions and delivery deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- 1+ years commercial driving experience preferred
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Knowledge of Detroit metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work early morning or afternoon shifts (4-8 hours/day)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
