Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans for local and regional deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo with precision and care to ensure product integrity.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold a professional image and adhere to all company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
