Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on assigned local routes within the Denver metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring items are secure and within weight limits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff to ensure high service standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and minor damages immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Experience with local delivery or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT) on file.
