Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to local businesses and distribution centers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records of shipments
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte area roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early morning or afternoon shifts (20-30 hours/week)
