Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and customer service standards
- Navigate Charlotte metro area routes efficiently using GPS systems
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding status updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Charlotte area road networks preferred
