Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Ohio and surrounding regions
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding shipment status
- Comply with DOT regulations, HOS requirements, and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends based on delivery demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
