Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) for local deliveries within Austin metro
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and mileage logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Secure cargo and adhere to all safety protocols
- Report maintenance issues promptly to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate manual transmissions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (provided)
- Knowledge of Austin traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for weekday shifts (20-30 hrs/week)
