Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial trucks for regional deliveries throughout Georgia
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during all transit
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance documentation
- Efficient loading/unloading of freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and timing
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Georgia roadways and regional geography
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts
