Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS routing and time efficiency
- Coordinate warehouse loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of San Jose metro area and Northern California routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification and hazmat endorsement preferred
