Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to and from designated locations in and around Austin, TX.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict accordance with federal laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Valid Medical Certificate (DOT Physical) and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and local traffic patterns.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
