Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on regional routes between Philadelphia and Ohio.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to all safety regulations and weight limits.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding route changes and delivery schedules.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Ensure the protection of cargo from damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on equipment).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Previous experience in local or regional truck driving is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift and maneuver cargo weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
