Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated Houston routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Accurately document delivery logs and maintain shipment records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timeliness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
