Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles within NYC boroughs
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to NYC traffic laws and company safety standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 points in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with NYC streets and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
