Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight within Indianapolis metro area
- Pre-trip inspections and documentation compliance (DOT logs, manifests)
- Timely delivery of goods while adhering to route schedules
- Secure cargo and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Basic inventory management and unloading assistance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills (GPS familiarity required)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance
- Excellent time management and communication skills
