Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Boston metro area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate route logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston metro area roadways
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, route apps)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
