Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within Philadelphia metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Ensure compliance with federal DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle repairs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia area roads and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
