Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within the Austin metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently plan routes to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Austin area roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
