Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods between San Jose and Bay Area destinations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and local traffic laws at all times
- Efficiently manage delivery routes using GPS technology
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate loading/unloading
- Maintain clean driving record and submit incident reports
- Communicate delivery status and delays via mobile app
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area roadways
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route apps
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends
