Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local deliveries within Los Angeles County
- Inspect and maintain vehicle pre/post-trip to ensure DOT compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain logs accurately
- Communicate with dispatch team for real-time updates
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Los Angeles metro area routes
- Basic computer skills for documentation
