Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks or tractor-trailers) to transport goods between distribution centers and client sites
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and inventory records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and real-time updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area and New England geography
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices
