Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our digital system
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with warehouse teams
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metropolitan area
- Flexible availability for evening/weekend shifts (20-30 hours/week)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
