Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school and school-sponsored activities in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students while loading, unloading, and supervising them on the bus.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and school district transportation policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding routes and delays.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement and School Bus certification.
- A clean driving record free of major violations (no DUI/DWI within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, reliability, and a commitment to student safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional afternoons.
